READATHON INFO

Starting Friday September 12- Friday September 19^th Mann Elementary will be hosting a Readathon.  This year we are hoping to raise more funds than ever as we are wanting to improve the instructional enhancements in each classroom.  Our ULTIMATE goal is playground improvement and possibly a NEW playground.  I am working with the district for the feasibility for this.  If you know of any companies that are willing to match donations, please send them our way!! 

So here is how the Readathon works:

Goal for each student: $35 (more is super, but that is our goal for each student)

Attached is a reading log to keep track of how many minutes a day you read.

Please have your child complete the reading log and sponsor sheet and collect monies at that time. The great news this year is that you can also donate with a credit card!! If you have relatives that live away from the area they can also easily donate.  Please look for the separate form on how to do this.

Place all money in the envelope provided by the school.

If by credit card, please remember to include the donor and amount on the sponsor sheet.

Make checks payable to Mann Elementary PTO since we will process the funds through them.

We do not encourage students to go door to door for sponsorship.

Return sponsor sheet and money envelope by the last day of the Readathon – Friday, Sept. 19th.
