Scholastic Book Fair Information:
Students will be shopping at the book fair during their library UA class Oct. 21-28. Due to our schedule and limited inventory there will be no repeat shopping. If a student purchases something on their library day, they may not come back and shop again. You are welcome to shop on Family Night or online if your student wishes to purchase more items after their shopping day.
We take cash/checks/credit cards/applepay/eWallet. Checks must be made to Mann Elementary. EWallets can be made on our book fair website. We encourage all students to purchase a book first and then extra items. If your child needs to return an item, they must have the item, a note from a parent and also the receipt.
Scholastic offers eWallet, a safe and secure alternative to cash. Simply create a free account to add funds. You can also share your eWallet link with friends and family so that they can add funds too for your child to shop. EWallets are more versatile this year. Funds can be transferred between students. They will stay on the account to be used at the next book fair or at the online Scholastic store. Parents need to visit the book fair homepage to create the eWallet.
We do not charge tax, but we do round up the pennies. For instance, if the book is $4.99, the final cost is $5. The extra penny is donated to Share the Fair a charity through Scholastic and allows us to purchase books for children who may not be able to shop the book fair.
There will be two Family Shopping Nights this year. They are Oct. 22 and Oct. 27. The book fair will be open during the parent teacher conferences. Please, stop by and visit.
Diary of a Wimpy Kid Fight or Flight will be released on Oct. 19. This book will be available to purchase at our book fair. It is paperback and costs $10. Dog Man A Sprinkle in Time will be released on November 2, 2026. This will not be at our fair but you can preorder the book through our book fair webpage and use the code FAIRSHIP to have this shipped free of charge to your home when it is released in November.
If you can’t make it to Family Night or would like to purchase some books as gifts, you can shop online from Oct. 21-Nov. 2. The items online will ship directly to you when the fair closes. Visit our Book Fair Homepage to see what is available and make your purchases.
